The rear brake is a pig to bleed properly, unless the bike is upside down! It can be done with a vacuum bleeder but I have never found one that fits the Master cylinder reservoir cap properly. Another trick is to force the pads apart quickly with a good pair external cir-clip pliers and this squirts the air in the system back into the reservoir. This works well for the front brakes too.

Any problems then let me know. I have got a few new calipers as well if that becomes necessary having dismantled your old one. New anodised aluminium pistons are also a good idea, as fitted to the Goldline F08 / F09 series as standard. The old original steel ones aren't available any more. Thank goodness!
